G.I.R.L.S. Incorporated, a 501c3 non-profit organization based in Pensacola, FL, is aimed at empowering teenage girls internationally through leadership development and self-confidence building. Become a Mentor!
Are you passionate about empowering the next generation of confident young lady leaders? G.I.R.L.S. Incorporated is seeking dedicated and inspiring mentors to help guide our incredible teen leaders throughout the upcoming G.I.R.L.S. Club year. As a mentor, you will play a vital role in shaping lives, building trust, and helping girls grow in confidence, leadership, and purpose.
This is a meaningful commitment to uplift, encourage, and walk alongside some of our community’s brightest G.I.R.L.S. Qualifications to Become a Mentor
We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

Must be 21 years of age or older

Able to commit to attending mentor trainings and monthly G.I.R.L.S. Club sessions

Pass a Level 2 background screening

Comfortable working with diverse groups and maintaining a safe, respectful environment

Passionate about youth development, leadership, and empowerment

Strong communication and listening skills
-
A positive attitude and a heart for service

The Tabono Symbol
The Tabono African symbol embodies the core values and mission of G.I.R.L.S. Incorporated. Tabono, which means "paddle" or "oar" represents strength, confidence, persistence, and purpose. It is a symbol that signifies the power of unity and the importance of working together to reach success.

Upcoming Events
The My Selfie Needs No Filter Summer Camp is a FREE 1wk camp for young ladies, 13 - 18, in the Pensacola, FL area! It aims to provide campers with the 3Es: Education, Empowerment, and Enlightenment, in a fun and safe environment!
Campers will participate in on and off-camp activities designed to build their leadership, technical, and social skills while strengthening their internal selfies (self-esteem, self-confidence, self-respect, self-care, and self-love). Spots are limited, so secure yours today!
